The Science Behind the Product
Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid 1%. Topical salicylic acid is used to help clear and prevent pimples and skin blemishes in people who have acne. Topical salicylic acid is also used to treat skin conditions that involve scaling or overgrowth of skin cells such as psoriasis (a skin disease in which red, scaly patches form on some areas of the body), ichthyoses (inborn conditions that cause skin dryness and scaling), dandruff, corns, calluses, and warts on the hands or feet.

Application Techniques
Use to cleanse skin morning and evening, after removing cosmetics. Rinse well. Follow with SeneDerm DayTime or Evening Moisturizer. If excessive drying or peeling occurs, start with one application daily, gradually increase to twice daily, or as directed by a doctor. For external use only. Do not use in combination with additional topical acne medications, other than the SeneDerm Oily to Acne system.
